How Great You Are, God!
These days I'm spending lots of time walking. With the weather changing, it's been even more awesome to get out into God's creation and breathe deeply.
And as I walk, daily I'm being reminded how GREAT God is - my mind just can't begin to fathom it. And His glory is all around. My morning walks get me through the day - it's my time to be with God, to be surrounded by His glory. Whether it's the trees, the clouds, the sky, or the rain on my face, it's all a part of His glory; it all declares it's Maker's praise!! Someday we'll have eyes that truly can see all the dimensions around us; someday we won't be "looking through a mirror dimly, but we will see face to face." Won't that just be incredible?!
These days I'm spending time listening to Beth Moore. Have you discovered her yet? She has an amazing way of making God's word come alive - what a blessing she is!! Be sure to visit her website, www.lproof.org.
Beth wrote a poem that really moved me the other day, so I'm sharing it with you. You can hear her reading it at her website. I challenge you to read it outloud, declare it!! Our God is amazing, He is our Maker, Creator, our Redeemer, and our Deliverer! NOTHING is impossible for Him! He makes all things new, and He makes all things beautiful. We are created to be His masterpiece, placed here within His glorious masterpiece of creation. The whole earth IS full of His glory.
The Whole Earth is Full of His Glory - by Beth Moore
The whole earth is full of His glory
Extolling her Maker, telling His story
Lightning declaring thundering praise
The I AM here, of the Ancient of Days.
Universal order claiming
Pointing, whispering, shouting, naming
God alone has said then done
And all creation came from One
The whole earth is full of His glory
Extolling Her Maker, telling His story
The heavens declaring, the earth groaning praise
The evidence of the Ancient of Day
Ever happening, ever around us
Glory seeking 'til it found us
Lift your eyes, behold Him now!
Your King is there, just behind the clouds!
Be encouraged today - lift your eyes and behold Him! Dwell with Him today. Dwell within His glory.
Blessings,
Cherlyn
